Getting around

monRézo city buses

monRéZO is the urban bus network of the Creusot Montceau urban community:

3 lines centered on Le Creusot (C1, C2 and C3) and also serving the communes of Montcenis, Le Breuil and Montchanin ;
4 lines centered on Montceau-les-Mines (M1, M2, M3 and M4), also serving Blanzy, Saint-Vallier and Sanvignes. The M4 line serves Montceau’s educational establishments.
TAD (transport on demand) lines, which operate on reservation only, to serve rural communities(timetable and reservation details).

1 trip: €1.20 (sold only on board the bus, please bring a top-up, no change will be given)
10 trips: €9.00
Day fare: €3.60 (unlimited number of trips, sold only to the driver)
Monthly subscription: €24.00, reduced rate €12.00

If you don’t have a contactless pass, you can buy your dematerialized transport tickets using the MyBuss mobile application, available for iOS and Android devices. You can also geolocate your bus in real time.

The shuttle

TGV

A shuttle bus (or minibus, depending on the timetable) runs to the Le Creusot TGV station from the town centers and TER stations of Le Creusot and Montceau-les-Mines. It is offered by monRéZO.

Depending on the day and timetable, regular shuttle or by reservation (see timetable for details).

Watch out!

Reservations must be made by 4pm the day before your trip, or by 4pm on Friday for trips on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. For travel on a public holiday, book the day before before 4pm.

By train TER

With TER trains from Burgundy-Franche-Comté, you can travel around the region and easily get to Dijon, Beaune, Chalon-sur-Sâone, Paray-le-Monial, Nevers, etc.

Departures possible from Blanzy, Ciry-le-Noble, Galuzot (Saint-Vallier), Génelard, Le Creusot-Ville, Marmagne, Montceau-les-Mines, Montchanin, Saint-Symphorien-de-Marmagne.

Good to know

To travel by TER train within the Creusot Montceau urban community, you can benefit from the monRéZO fare.

This advantageous fare is only available at the ticket offices of the Creusot-Ville and Monceau-les-Mines SNCF stations. Don’t forget to ask for it!

Mobigo regional buses

To get to Chalon-sur-Saône, Autun, Digoin or Gueugnon from the TGV station, or from Le Creusot and Montceau, use the Mobigo bus network of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
