Synopsis
Shortly before his retirement, Inspector William Somerset, a disillusioned cop, is asked to team up with a young idealist, David Mills. Their first case is the murder of an obese man whose killer forced him to eat himself to death. The investigation has barely begun when a second, equally macabre crime is committed, followed by a third. Little by little, the two policemen make the connection between all these murders.
