Noël au Château de Digoine

On Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 December 2024, the Château de Digoine team invites you to experience a REAL CASTLE CHRISTMAS. On the programme: market, tour of the estate, horse-drawn carriage rides, decorations and illuminations, Father Christmas, children's workshops, food and drink all day long!

CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE is also the opportunity to enjoy the fifth edition of the CHRISTMAS MARKET. Over the course of this magical weekend, some forty exhibitors and producers will be taking over Digoine, offering visitors arts and crafts, local produce and unique demonstrations of their skills.

Specialities include: decorative objects, toys, woodwork, fabrics, textiles, leather goods, handmade candles, mosaics, lamps, jewellery, stones, soaps, cosmetics, books, cutlery, photographs, wines, beers, honey, pastries, crêpes, meats, vinegars, spices, mustards, herbal teas, syrups...

Based in Vichy, La Maison Félicien will be setting up its stoves at the château and will be serving up its home cooking for the duration of the event!

This year, raclette will be on offer, as well as tartines, crêpes and pastries. You can also enjoy a glass of mulled wine, fruit juice or Christmas tea!

For the occasion, the château team will be delighted to welcome "Les Attelages de la Dombes", who will be offering rides over the two days in a comfortable horse-drawn carriage for up to 13 people!

Christmas bauble-making workshops will be on offer throughout the weekend. This educational activity will let your children express their creativity and leave with a unique souvenir!
