Les Frères Boucliers

Born into a family of musicians, Dimitri and Julien have established themselves as true virtuosos on their instruments. Their career paths are both exceptional, and their achievements brilliant. Violinist Julien Bouclier is a graduate of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and the winner of several international chamber music prizes, while Dimitri Bouclier, a graduate of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, has won top international concert accordion prizes (Klingenthal, Castelfidardo, Sarajevo, Glasgow) and the Georges Cziffra and Banque Populaire foundations. While violin and accordion often go hand in hand with music from the East, this duo takes the audience to unknown lands that command respect and invite us to travel. Dimitri and Julien Bouclier have already impressed audiences with their lyricism, freedom, commitment and simplicity. The works they perform are arranged with great care, allowing us to discover the perfect harmony that can exist between these two instruments.
