Festival Piano à la Verrerie

The Château de la Verrerie will be hosting the first edition of the Piano à la Verrerie festival. Conceived under the artistic direction of Enzo Ungauer, the festival promises to explore "the piano in all its forms", combining classical piano, jazz and pop. A prestigious programme for all audiences.

Each evening, an exceptional artist will perform in the main courtyard of the Château de la Verrerie.
- Wednesday 28 May: Alexandre Kantorow, classical superstar pianist, opens the festival with a solo recital, followed by a trio performance with violinist Liya Petrova and cellist Aurélien Pascal.
- Thursday 29 May: Yaron Herman, winner of the Victoires de la Musique Jazz award, will be offering an interactive and educational improvisation concert, exploring the full richness of jazz piano.
- Friday 30 May: NACH (Anna Chedid), an iconic figure on the French pop scene, will be presenting a piano-vocals concert, revisiting her most emblematic songs.
- Saturday 31 May: Vocal jazz icon Melody Gardot closes the festival with a piano-voice concert, accompanied by pianist Ismaël Margain.

- 6-7pm: Wine and champagne tasting in the château gardens*.
- 7-8.30pm: concert in the château's main courtyard

The concerts will be held outdoors. In the event of bad weather, the organisers reserve the right to move the concerts indoors, to the Alto concert hall at 2, avenue François Mitterrand - 71200 Le Creusot.
