Jean-Pierre GAILDRAUD, born in Limoges in 1936, is a writer, activist and historian of the Algerian War. An officer in Algeria in 1960, he was forced to abandon the Harkis after the traumatic Evian Accords in 1962. In 1993, he published "Les années algériennes", followed by nine other books on Algeria.
