Concert de Printemps des 4 Saisons en Charolais

The Association "les 4 Saisons en Charolais" is breaking new ground by devoting one of its 4 seasonal concerts to "World Music" with the Slavic group "Tchayok", who will be performing in the church in Génelard.

The trio is made up of Vladimir and Romain Gourko, two brothers of Russian-Ukrainian origin, and Yoann Godefroy, of Cossack origin. All three are guitarists and singers who play the balalaika (prima and double bass).
Inspired by this traditional music and its many influences (jazz, swing, South American music), they revive the style with original compositions and arrangements where written music rubs shoulders with the spontaneity of improvisation. The frenzied gypsy rhythms and heart-rending romances are interpreted with poetry, nuance and virtuosity, magnified by the power of three harmonised voices.
