The Manufacture de Bonneterie Perrin opens its doors to you for a visit to a company unique in France. Enter the fascinating world of one of the last family-run factories specializing in 100% made-in-France socks and tights.

Labelled “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (EPV), the factory is the repository of recognized know-how. Every day, it perpetuates this heritage, which it enhances through its creations. Its products are marketed under four brand names: Perrin 1924, Dagobert à l’envers and La chaussette française. The company also works for some of the world’s leading fashion houses, producing some or all of their collections.

The sound of machines in operation, workers at work… A visit to the Perrin factory is a captivating experience that immerses you in the life of the company. From graphic design to creation, from knitting to pairing and from finishing to shipping, let us guide you through the manufacturing workshops to observe each stage of production. No fewer than 4,500 socks leave the factory every day for shipment across France and around the world, for the comfort and pleasure of everyone’s feet!

You’ll see demonstrations at various workstations, and meet the men and women in charge of the various stages of the production and quality control chain. Educational, interactive and accessible to all, the tour allows for a genuine exchange between guide, staff and visitor.

Treat yourself to a pair or more...

At the end of your visit, cross a spacious industrial-style glass roof to discover the Manufacture boutique. A veritable temple to made-in-France trends, brands and designers, you’ll find – of course – colorful socks, tights and stockings, but also other French textile creations. In-house productions rub shoulders with brands such as Berthe Aux Grands Pieds, Le Slip Français, Saint-James, Armor-Lux, Ector Sneakers, 1083 and Tissages Moutet, all of which promote respect for French tradition and know-how.
