Lac De Montaubry Fancy a picnic in the shade or just lounging by the water? Spread over 128 ha, Lac de Montaubry is big enough to find a little spot all to yourself. It features a small beach, the plage des Patins, which will get you on the road to vacation right away. With its gentle slope, it’s the perfect place for children to swim and play with their inflatable toys. With several shaded picnic tables, it’s the ideal place to meet up with friends and enjoy a drink as the sun goes down. The more sporty can also bring their own paddle or book an introduction to water-skiing at the club.

… and you want to take a break? Sit in the shade and do nothing but relax? Berthaud is sure to please. This small 50-hectare pond, located halfway between Le Creusot and Montceau, boasts a beach that’s very popular with families, as well as numerous shaded areas. And beyond the swimming, you can enjoy a 2 km trail to discover the surrounding flora and fauna.
